A Few Things

I'll be discussing the name change of my blog in a future post. In the past I've discussed a wide range of things, some of which have been about my life with my family. But my family doesn't much like to have me talking about them, since I "always get it wrong!" Apparently, I'm not just nuance challenged, but my memory goes entirely haywire when it comes to recounting what the wife & kids said, did, thought, wanted, or even were going to say, think, do, etc. but didn't.

So I'll talk about me, and what I think about politics and science and controversies and morality, and even the price of tea in China if I think it's relevant. But this is not going to be a great place to visit if you want to know what I'm going to do for Christmas with the family. I might talk about a New Year's resolution if I come up with one, though.

I'm also going to be limiting comments and posts relating to my own moods and feelings. I have them, and they run very deep indeed, but sometimes my moods make me write things that I only feel and think while I'm in that mood, and later I wonder just what the hell I was so worked up about.

So, less of the personal, more of the factual and opinional.
