Sunday Morning

This morning I was awakened early by Dorothy. She was fighting a migraine, then after she took some Tylenols, she had a spike and her heart was racing. She's resting now--but having a spike when you have a migraine is doubly miserable.

I need to pick up some milk today, and do some writing, and fix that platform thing for Dorothy, but that won't take long. I already have a suitable board and it may even be just the right size without cutting it.

Since today is the anniversary of the death of Elvis "The Kang of rock and roll" Presley, they are showing a lot of his movies on TCM today, and I will watch as many of them as I can. I know they are cheesy, but so what? They have Elvis in them! I'm also really getting my office into shape again downstairs.

I wish my insurance covered Vyvanse. I had a good day yesterday, and it's effects are so much more even than what I get from Concerta.

Not much else, but I think I should mention that since I've been taking medication for my ADHD, I really rather enjoy going to work more than I used to. It's nice to look forward to Monday morning in a way I haven't for a very long time. I'm also thinking about digging out my GRE scores and applying for membership in the triple-nine society. If I do, I doubt I'll participate much. But membership does offer external validation and sometimes that can be valuable.
