Balloon Boy is a Hoax

Thought I'd weigh in just a minute on Balloon Boy. The only question finding out this whole thing was a hoax answers is that the father who'd built the balloon really did know darn well it wouldn't have lifted his kid. As for the rest, you can sit back and wonder just what these people were thinking when they came up with this, but you'll probably never get it. Normal people would reject the idea so automatically that it would never get any thought at all, so trying to figure out why they thought this would fly (hee hee) would be time wasted. Ron White said it best, "You can't fix stupid."

The weekend wasn't too bad--didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but that is always the case. I did get the air conditions out of the two upper bedrooms that we use them in. What a waste it was to put them in this year--I don't know if they were turned on more than two or three times the entire summer, it was that cool. We didn't even use our central air very much, not to save money but just because it was seldom needed.

I don't have much lined up for this week, not anything really. Might get a haircut, but otherwise it should be all a little of this and a little of that, as usual.
