A Longish Day

This was one of those days at work where it was looking like it was again going to be pretty mellow. We didn't get all that much "stuff" in this morning, and it looked like I'd have an easy afternoon of it, even though we were shorthanded and girl Friday Angie had to do some of her work elsewhere. But such was not to be the case. Shortly after lunch I was besieged by special requests and unusual deliveries, and several interruptions that amounted to quite a bit of time evaporating. So my relaxing day turned into a longish one where I was just waiting for the clock to run down, and wondering if I'd have all my work finished by the time it did.

I had one blog mystery today--somebody from Florida visited today. I have an idea who it might be, but I'm surprised by the originating location. I'm sure I'll find out sooner or later--just hope it doesn't involve bad news.

Not much else tonight. I still need to balance the checkbook, no bills I need to pay, and I should do some writing. At the moment I'm just rather tired.
